• Includes all the various activities that involve the selling of goods to traders for resale to the final user (consumer).
• Wholesalers buy goods in bulk from several manufactures which they then store in their warehouses until the goods are needed by retailers.
• Wholesalers sell to retailers in bulk.
• Wholesalers are therefore a link between producers/manufacturers and retailers.
